Only if you travel through Canada to get there. Flying to Alaska from a city in any other American state will require no passport.
If you fly there from another US state (Alaska is a US state), no, you do not. If you drive through Canada from the lower 48 states, you do need your passport.

It depends. If you fly from somewhere in the continental U.S. (lower 48) straight to Alaska, you don’t need a passport since Alaska is a state and as such is an exclave of the U.S.
If you drive through Canada, you should bring along your passport. The same is true if you fly through Canada (i.e., layover in Vancouver or Toronto etc.).
If you are flying into Alaska from another US state then no. However, if you’re driving you will need your passport to go through Canada.
